The driver of an SUV was killed in a collision with a truck in the Chelyabinsk region.

A man was killed in a collision between a car and a truck in the Troitskiy district of the Chelyabinsk region. The regional State Traffic Inspectorate reports this in its Telegram channel.

The accident occurred on Thursday afternoon, August 14, on the 122nd km of the federal highway A-310 Chelyabinsk - Troitsk – border with the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to preliminary data from the traffic police, a 70-year-old driver of a Chinese Tank SUV drove into oncoming traffic and crashed into a Sitrak truck driven by a 40-year-old man.

As a result of a head-on collision, an elderly motorist received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. The truck slid off the roadway from the impact and ended up in a wooded area, writes the news agency " <url>".

On August 11, a Kia passenger car and a Volvo truck collided on the R-254 Irtysh highway in the Kurgan region. As a result, the 43-year-old driver of the car, as well as her passenger, died.
