The Russian Armed Forces hit the HIMARS MLRS position in the Sumy region with the Iskander calculation

The Russian Armed Forces destroyed the position of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Sumy region. This was announced on August 14 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The department clarified that the HIMARS position was located in the village of Zhikhovo. The strike was carried out by the calculation of the Iskander tactical missile system (OTRK).

As a result of the strike, the HIMARS launcher, escort vehicles, as well as up to 10 personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

On July 3, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian Armed Forces had attacked the parking lot of the HIMARS MLRS rocket systems. An enterprise of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine, an assembly shop and a storage warehouse for enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were also hit.
