Two ecotechnoparks will appear in Crimea by the end of the year
In Crimea, the construction of two ecotechnoparks for the management of municipal solid waste will be completed by the end of 2025. This was announced by the head of the Council of Ministers of the Republic, Yuri Gotsanyuk, in his social networks.
The facilities will be located in the Saki and Belogorsky districts, writes IA SevastopolMedia. The total capacity of the complexes will be 700 thousand tons per year, which will significantly increase the efficiency of MSW management in the region.
According to Gotsanyuk, the task of the authorities is to ensure 100% separate collection and sorting of MSW by 2030, as well as to reduce the volume of their burial by half.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that fees for garbage collection may change in Russian regions. Currently, in most regions, this indicator depends on the number of people living in an apartment, but the government advised local authorities to consider a different system, depending on the housing area.
