Another batch of Su-30SM2 aircraft from the Russian Federation has arrived in Belarus
Another batch of Russian Su-30SM2 aircraft arrived in Belarus and was delivered to one of the airfields. This was announced on August 14 by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic.
"Right now, another batch of Su-30SM2 aircraft is arriving at one of the airfields of the Air Force and Air Defense forces," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that the aircraft were received as part of military-technical cooperation between Belarus and the Russian Federation in order to enhance the capabilities of the country's Air Force.
The day before, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus reported that the joint military exercises of Moscow and Minsk Zapad-2025 will be held from September 12 to 16. It was clarified that the purpose of the event is to test the capabilities of the armed forces of the two countries to ensure security and "readiness to repel possible aggression."
It was later reported that planning for the use of nuclear weapons and Hazelnuts would be worked out as part of the exercises, as this is an important element of strategic deterrence.
