The new season of "Battle of the Generations" starts on MUZ-TV in September.

On September 13, at 17:00, the fourth season of the musical show "Battle of Generations" starts on the MUZ-TV channel. In the show, the legends of the Russian stage will once again compete with young artists in live musical duels, performing hits, covers, novelties and lyrical compositions. This was announced on August 14 in the press service of the TV channel.

The Battle of the Generations has been one of the channel's largest projects for many years now and the most anticipated for both viewers and the entire music industry in the country. In the new season, we have assembled an incredibly powerful cast of participants and a jury. The audience will see a clash of two eras — always completely different in energy, manner of performance, style and creative handwriting. Every issue will be a surprise: We have gathered some very unexpected pairs of artists. There will be absolute hits, there will be very interesting covers, there will be lyrics to the point of tears. In general, there will definitely be a wow effect! I am sure that the audience will get real musical pleasure!" said Zakhar Babin, Director General of MUZ—TV.

The previous three seasons of the project united all generations of MUZ-TV viewers at the screens. The grandiose show presented exciting confrontations of artists, live sound, unexpected cover versions, vivid judging, real musical drama on stage and unpredictable results in each release.

The fourth season of "Battle of the Generations" can truly be called unique, because this time MUZ-TV gathered very unusual pairs of competing artists, completely updated the jury, and also invited big and legendary performers who rarely appear on TV to the project.

Performers of different generations will perform on the stage of the show: Sergey Shnurov and the Leningrad group, Polina Gagarina, Alsu, Igor Sarukhanov, Nikolai Baskov, Julianna Karaulova, 5sta Family, Burito, Filatov & Karas, MIRAVI, Lyceum and others. In each issue, the participants will perform four tracks — a hit, a love song, a novelty and a cover of a rival song.

For the first time, Nikolai Baskov and Yana Rudkovskaya will deliver the final verdict from the masters to the jury.

"It should be interesting to be on the jury! There is no refereeing here. First of all, you get a thrill from meeting your colleagues who are already the history of our country, and at the same time you enjoy the young talented artists who are opening a new page in our Russian music," said Baskov.

On the part of the younger generation of stars, the participants will be judged on an ongoing basis by Vanya Dmitrienko and MIA BOYKA. The actress has carefully prepared for the project and in each episode she will appear in different images, which contain references to famous personalities and movie characters.

Vladimir Kristovsky (Uma2rman), MakSim, Joseph Prigozhin, Lena Katina (Tatu), Alexey Ryzhov (Disco Accident), IOWA, Gazan, Sultan Laguchev, Anya Pokrov and other stars will also appear as the jury for the first time in various editions of the season. Konstantin Anisimov will once again become the host of the fourth season of The Battle of Generations.
