The main building of the Pavlovsk Hospital will be restored
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced plans to restore the main building of the Pavlovsk Hospital, which is a cultural heritage site. Creative workshops and a volunteer center will open in the renovated premises.
"After the restoration is completed, the Flagship Volunteer Center will be located in a building with an area of more than 5,000 square meters," Sobyanin wrote on the IACH. A workspace for volunteer organizations, coworking spaces, meeting rooms, a library, lecture halls, recreation areas and cafes will be created in the building.
In addition, the renovated building will be equipped with multifunctional halls for events, including a cinema hall and a theater venue. There will also be art workshops, content farms, video studios, a recording studio, a vocal class and much more.
The main building of the Pavlovsk Hospital was built at the beginning of the 19th century according to the design of Matvey Kazakov. In the 1830s, it was rebuilt under the direction of Domenico Gilardi.
