On September 3, on the opening day of the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum, the third International Forum "Falcon Day" will be held. The event was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Kamchatka Territory with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kalmykia and the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment's Roszapovedcenter. The operator of the Forum is the Roscongress Foundation.

As part of the business program, the world's leading environmental experts will share successful practices in the conservation of rare bird species, discuss the use of modern technologies, and share practical knowledge in the development of eco-tourism and the revival of ancient falconry traditions.

The central event will be the plenary session "The Falcon is a unifying symbol: a dialogue between countries to protect rare species", during which the interim results of the implementation of the Declaration of Intent on the Conservation of the Gyrfalcon population will be summed up. It will also discuss successful practices from different countries in the conservation of birds of the Falconidae and Drophinae families.

Within the framework of the exhibition "Street of the Far East", the interactive exposition of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation "House of the Falcon" will be opened, which will tell about the rarest falcons, the reasons for the decline in their populations and support measures. The pavilion will feature live birds accompanied by professional falconers. In addition, the guests will get acquainted with other representatives of the Red Book of Russia, and will also be able to learn all the most interesting things about the protected areas of the Far East.

"On September 3, 2025, the joint pavilion of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and the Kamchatka Territory, the House of the Falcon, will open its doors at the Far East Street exhibition. It will become not just an exhibition stand, but a real window into the world of wildlife. Falcons are one of the most amazing birds of prey in the world, possessing amazing qualities: high flight speed, keen eyesight and the ability to cooperate with humans. Birds also play an important role in maintaining the natural balance. Therefore, the state is making every effort to preserve the populations of falconids that are listed in the Red Book of Russia, such as gyrfalcon, saker falcon and peregrine falcon. The Falcon House Pavilion will introduce visitors to the Streets of the Far East to unique birds and measures to support their populations, as well as the history of falconry. In the pavilion, you will also be able to learn about the rarest species of animals in the Red Book of the Russian Federation and the protected areas of the Far East," said Alexander Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Falcon Day Forum.

In addition, the "Arab Village" zone will be organized – a stylized exhibition of traditional Bedouin tents, which house household items and interiors of the peoples of the Middle East. It is organized with the support of the UAE Embassy in Russia and the Roscongress Foundation. The exhibition will be open from 3 to 9 September as part of the exhibition "Street of the Far East".

"The Third International Falcon Day Forum will become an important platform for discussing key issues of nature conservation, developing international environmental dialogue and strengthening international humanitarian ties. Caring for falcons is an important dominant factor in relations between Russia and the countries of the Middle East, combining traditions, history and modern environmental initiatives. I am confident that the Forum will make a significant contribution to the development of joint solutions for the conservation of biodiversity, as well as strengthen interstate cooperation through mutual respect for our common values. Russia, as a responsible participant in the global environmental dialogue, is ready to share its experience and work together with international partners for a sustainable future," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the WEF Organizing Committee.

The tenth Eastern Economic Forum will be held on September 3-6 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University. The main theme of this year's event is "The Far East: Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity." The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
