The Prosecutor General's Office has declared undesirable the activities of a foreign non-governmental organization Demokrati-JA e.V. This was announced on August 14 in the press service of the department on the website.
It is specified that the members of the association are trying to split the Russian-speaking diaspora in Germany.: They carry out anti-Russian public actions, distribute materials that discredit the domestic and foreign policy of the Russian Federation, as well as the actions of the Russian army during the special military operation (SVO).
In addition, the organization creates a "totalitarian" image of the Russian Federation and promotes Russophobia, demanding the introduction of trade, gas and oil embargoes. Demokrati-ja e.V. incites ethnic hatred and distorts historical memory.
"At the same time, their activities are aimed at supporting the Kiev Nazi regime and calling on the international community to provide further military support to Ukraine," the publication says.
It is specified that the organization was founded by Russian immigrants living in Germany. The partners are the German organizations Solidarus e.V. and Freies Russland Berlin, as well as the American Free Russia Foundation, whose activities are considered undesirable in Russia.
Earlier, on August 5, the agency declared the NGO Zimin Foundation undesirable in Russia. It was clarified that along with the stated goals of supporting science and education, the foundation provides financial and informational assistance to individuals and organizations involved in extremist activities and terrorism.
