A driver killed a road worker in Kamchatka

In Kamchatka, a driver killed a road worker. This was announced on August 14 by the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"On the 9th km of the Yelizovo -Paratunka village highway, a 64–year-old driver, driving a Toyota Hilux Surf car, did not choose a safe speed and ran over a 40-year—old man performing road work," the agency said in a Telegram post.

The victim died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. It is specified that the man was wearing a reflective vest. Police officers are conducting an investigation into the incident.

The prosecutor's office of Primorsky Krai reported one dead and three injured in a collision between a Nissan Juke and a Toyota Prius in the Kirovsky district. It was clarified that a minor was driving the Nissan. A criminal case was opened into the accident.
