An oil refinery caught fire in the Volgograd region as a result of falling UAV debris.

In the Volgograd region after the fall of the wreckage of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) oil refinery caught fire. This was announced on August 14 by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov.

"As a result of falling debris, oil products were spilled and ignited at the Volgograd Refinery," the governor was quoted as saying on the Telegram channel of the press service of the Volgograd Region administration.

Fire services are working at the scene of the fire. No information about the victims was reported.

Earlier that day, Bocharov reported that UAV debris had damaged the roof of a 16-storey apartment building in Volgograd. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties.
