Agee, the head of AmCham, announced business interest in resuming direct flights from Russia

American business would like to resume direct flights with Russia, the head of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham) Robert Agee told Izvestia.

"Of course, we would like this (the launch of direct flights. — Ed.). This is in the interests of both ordinary people and businesses. But the issue of flight safety and the lifting of sanctions on the purchase of aircraft and spare parts is a higher priority," said the head of AmCham.

Representatives of Russia and the United States raised the issue of resuming direct flights at bilateral talks in Istanbul this year. Earlier it was reported that they could be opened before the end of 2025.
