Zakharova recalled Mikhalkov's poem after the meeting between Zelensky and EU leaders
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, commenting on the meeting of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky with the leaders of the European Union (EU), quoted a poem by Soviet poet and playwright Sergei Mikhalkov on August 13.
"Zelensky showed what the meeting of the heads of several Western countries looked like on the eve of the Russian-American summit. It reminded me of Sergei Mikhalkov's immortal poem," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
In the publication, Zakharova cited the full text of a lyrical work entitled "What do you have? (It was in the evening, there was nothing to do)."
