The body of a missing four-year-old boy was found in a reservoir in the Dubensky district of the Tula region. As a result of the incident, a criminal case was opened. This was announced on August 13 by the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

"Currently, the body of a boy without signs of life has been found in a reservoir in the Dubensky district. The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Tula region have opened a criminal case on the death of a minor resident of the Dubensky district, on the grounds of a crime under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence." — Ed.)," reads the message posted on the Telegram channel.

According to the investigation, on August 13, a report was received about the disappearance of a child. His body was later found. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.

On August 5, the body of an eight-month-old child with signs of violent death was found in the village of Berezovka in the Altai Territory. As a result of the incident, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder of a minor"). According to preliminary information, the girl's death occurred from an open traumatic brain injury.
