Construction of a new children's polyclinic has begun in the Okinsky district of the Republic of Buryatia. This was reported to UlanMedia by the Republican Capital Construction Department.

A children's polyclinic will be built in the regional center of the Okinsky district — the village of Orlik. The contractor has already started laying the foundation for the modular building, having previously laid sewer pipes and completed a number of other preparatory work on the site.

"Temporary power supply has been installed, steel strapping for modules has been installed. At the moment, specialists are engaged in the installation of the base for a modular building, the readiness of the facility is 20%," the report says.

The children's clinic will be designed for 70 patients. The construction is carried out as part of the program for the modernization of primary health care of the national project "Active Life".

In total, four new medical institutions are planned to open in Buryatia in 2025. In addition to the children's polyclinic in the village of Orlik, modern organizations aimed at serving adults will appear in Kyren, Khorinsk and the village of Nizhneangarsk.
