Muscovites and tourists will test video games from the capital's developers

Open testing of video games by local developers will be conducted in the capital, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

Those interested will be able to share their impressions of the plot, graphics and mechanics. "Visitors will learn more about the process of creating video games, and the authors will receive detailed feedback even before the product is released to the market, they will be able to improve their projects and increase the chances of success," Sergunina said.

Citizens and tourists will get acquainted with the projects of participants of the Moscow accelerator "Video Game Factory" and other Moscow studios. Players will become space zoologists, work in a virtual airship store, solve puzzles and embark on a journey through fantastic worlds.

The first series of tests will be held at the site of the forum "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" at the new campus of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Participants are expected from Tuesday to Thursday from 12:00 to 22:00 and from Friday to Sunday from 11:00 to 23:00 during the month.

The second series starts on August 26 at the AKI.Lab creative space. There will also be a round table discussion on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in video game development. In total, four tests are planned at this location, they are scheduled to be held in late October and early next year.

Today, the capital's information technology and video game industry has more than 33,000 organizations. Last year, the turnover of the companies exceeded 3.9 trillion rubles.
