"David Lammy contacted an environmental organization after he went fishing with J.D. Vance without a fishing rod license due to an "administrative oversight." The absence of a valid license may result in a fine of up to 2.5 thousand pounds," the publication says.
According to the TV channel, the meeting of the two diplomats took place last Friday, August 8. Vance and his family spent two days at Lammy's during their summer vacation. Following the meeting, he described the British Foreign Secretary as "a good friend and a very kind host."
According to Environmental Protection Agency law, all anglers in the UK aged 13 and over must have a fishing rod license.
