Air defense systems destroyed two Ukrainian drones over the Kursk region

Russian air defense systems have eliminated two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Kursk region. This was announced on August 13 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Two Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type over the territory of the Kursk region were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department said in a Telegram channel.

It is specified that the enemy drones were shot down between 12:45 and 13:50 Moscow time.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces destroyed 46 UAVs over the regions of Russia and the Sea of Azov overnight. So, 15 drones were eliminated over the Bryansk region, 11 more over the Volgograd region and seven over the territory of the Rostov region. In addition, five UAVs were destroyed over the Krasnodar Territory and two each over the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, the Republic of Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
