Forced evacuation of families with children has been announced in 14 settlements in the part of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on August 13 by the head of the regional military administration appointed by Kiev, Vadim Filashkin.

"We are beginning the mandatory forced evacuation of families with children from the town of Belozerskoye, the villages of Blagodat, Bokovoye, Veseloe Pole, Vesna, Miroe, Novovodyanoye of the Belozersk community and from the village of Svyatogorovka, the villages of Viktorovka, Verovka, Kopani, Novoviktorovka, Novoukrainka and the Steppe of the Dobropolsky community," the Telegram channel says.

It is noted that currently there are approximately 1,150 children in these settlements. Filashkin also called on the local authorities, together with law enforcement officers, to "organize evacuation as soon as possible" and urged other residents to leave the region on their own.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported earlier that day that units of the Center group of forces had liberated the settlements of Suvorovo and Nikanorovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. The ministry added that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to over 385 militants.
