Nine cars burned down in an accident on the Amur highway in the Jewish Autonomous Region. This was announced on August 13 in the press service of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

Previously, in the area of the village of Klyuchevo, the driver of a concrete mixer drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a cargo truck. As a result, there was a fire.

"A truck (an auto carrier) and eight passenger cars that it was transporting burned down," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, the driver of a concrete mixer was also injured in the accident, and he was promptly taken to a medical facility for assistance. The circumstances of the incident are currently being established.

Earlier that day, one person was killed and three people were injured when a Nissan Juke collided with a Toyota Prius in the Kirovsky district of Primorsky Krai. It was clarified that a minor was driving the Nissan. A criminal case was opened into the accident.
