Ukraine is considering the possibility of acquiring decommissioned Polish Mi-14PL helicopters. This was reported by WP Tech on August 13.

"Before the potential transfer of the Mi-14 to Ukraine, it is extremely important to assess their technical condition. Polish pilots claim that the helicopters are still operational, although they require repair and modernization," the publication says.

It is noted that the Ukrainian industry has a theoretical opportunity to modernize old Soviet helicopters.

As the Ukrainian edition of Defense Express notes in the Telegram channel, Ukraine already possesses several Mi-14 helicopters, but the issue of expanding their fleet is "not so clear."

Charge d'affaires of Poland in Ukraine Piotr Lukasiewicz said on May 16 that Warsaw soon intends to decommission Soviet MiG-29 fighters and may transfer them to Kiev. It was noted that they would be replaced by American F-16s in the Polish army.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
