Ermak called the discussion between Trump and Zelensky in the winter a diplomatic suicide.

The discussion in the Oval Office of the White House from the point of view of diplomacy was suicide for the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced on August 13 by the head of the office of the Ukrainian leader, Andriy Ermak, at a meeting with students.

"You know, when there was a discussion in the Oval Office, from the point of view of diplomacy, from the point of view of looking at your career, everyone will tell you that it was suicide," the Ukrainian edition of Ekonomicheskaya Pravda quotes Ermak.

As noted by the newspaper "Country.ua" in the Telegram channel, after the publication of Ermak's quotes, the publication faced criticism, including from the head of the Kiev School of Economics Timofey Milovanov, who organized this meeting. According to him, the actions of Ekonomicheskaya Pravda are allegedly a "violation of journalistic ethics."
