Powerful typhoon hits southern Taiwan
Typhoon Blew hit the southeastern coast of Taiwan, hundreds of flights were canceled. This was reported on August 13 by the Reuters news agency.

On July 20, Hong Kong authorities issued a storm warning of the highest level due to the approaching hurricane. About 500 flights were cancelled due to the weather conditions. It was later reported that at least 26 people were injured due to Typhoon Vifa in Hong Kong.
