In Russia, it was proposed to impose fines of up to 15,000 rubles for using blinds on car windows that mimic tinting. This was announced on August 13 by Anton Shaparin, Vice-President of the National Automobile Union (NAS).

According to him, the number of people who violate the current rules is increasing every year.

"If earlier they used to hang such curtains made of fabric that resembled home curtains, now some Iranian curtains have appeared — this is a retractable film that can be seen on almost every gazelle, even in Moscow," he told TASS.
