The program of the Vladivostok Seasons Cultural Festival within the framework of the WEF-2025 has been published

The official website has published the program of the Vladivostok Seasons Cultural Festival, which will be held as part of the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum. The WEF will be held on September 3-6. The organizer is the Roscongress Foundation.

"The Eastern Economic Forum is not only a business, but also a rich cultural program of world class. This is a whole range of events under the brand of the Vladivostok Seasons Cultural Festival, which includes concerts, theatrical productions, film screenings and exhibitions specially organized for residents and guests of Vladivostok and participants of the Forum. The regions have prepared a bright program at the Far East Street exhibition. Vocal and dance groups, national ensembles will be presented. Through their performances, the performers will show how the Far East lives and is famous, tell about their distinctive culture and traditions, and show how the cultural life of one region differs from others. And, of course, we intend to develop cultural ties with friendly countries, because culture is another way to get to know and understand each other better," said Yuri Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum.

As part of the Vladivostok Seasons Cultural Festival, on September 4, guests and participants of the forum will see a performance by Russian virtuoso pianist Denis Matsuev, accompanied by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra, on the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theater.

On September 5, an open fashion show by Far Eastern designers from Primorsky Krai, Amur Region, Khabarovsk Territory, Blagoveshchensk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Kamchatka will take place. The program of the event also includes a discussion on the development of the fashion industry in the Far East, which will continue at the IV Russian Design Industry Forum in Moscow.

On September 6 and 7, the Vladivostok State Circus will host the Sand Fairy Tale show, a theatrical performance combined with one storyline.

In addition, film screenings and a concert are planned as part of the Soul of Russia project.

"This year's Eastern Economic Forum will be held for the tenth anniversary time and will traditionally serve as a platform for the development of humanitarian ties between Russia and the countries of the Asia-Pacific region. The WEF cultural program is consistently focused on deepening contacts with international partners and demonstrating the rich creative potential of the Russian Far East. These events create a space for cultural dialogue, opening up new opportunities for cooperation. I am convinced that the forum will continue to be not only an effective economic tool for the development of the Russian Far East, but also an important cultural event for residents and guests of the region," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the WEF Organizing Committee.

From August 31 to September 6, an open-air cinema will be open on the Sports Embankment, where films about the Great Patriotic War from the Cinema Foundation, short films by cinematographers of the Far East and a discussion of the RT documentary film will be shown.A doc about the economy of the "new regions" of Russia.

During the forum, a series of thematic exhibitions is planned in the museums of Primorye. The Primorsky State Art Gallery will host the exhibition "This Order will never be removed" from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum, which will introduce visitors to the history of the country's main military award, the Order of St. George the Great Martyr and Victorious, and the exhibition of graphics and paintings "For Life's Sake" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The exhibition space "August 1945. The last Chord of the Second World War", which will tell about the prerequisites and causes of the two-week war between the USSR and Japan, as well as about the exploits of Soviet soldiers who contributed to the victory over militaristic Japan.

The main event of the Cultural Festival will be the Pacific Beat gala concert for residents and guests of the city with the participation of the best creative teams of the Far East, which will be held on September 6 on the Sports Embankment of Vladivostok.

The WEF will also traditionally host the Far East Street exhibition, where all 11 regions of the Far Eastern Federal District will present their investment, tourism and cultural potential. During the Forum, the exhibition will be available to its participants, and on September 7, 8 and 9 it will open to all comers. The exhibition is organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District.

A diverse musical program is planned on the main stage of the exhibition, which traditionally includes performances by creative teams from the regions of the Far East. This year they will perform not only on the stage of the "Streets of the Far East", but also on the city stage on the Sports Embankment from 3 to 6 September.
