In Dagestan, an accident involving a wedding motorcade killed one person and injured four. This was reported in the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The incident occurred on 26 km of the Rutul–Lucek–Ihrek highway. The 19-year-old driver of a Kia Rio car, moving as part of a wedding motorcade, did not observe a safe distance and side interval, which led to a collision with a Lada Kalina car driven by an 18-year-old local resident. After the collision, both cars drove off the road into a 50 m high cliff.

"As a result of the accident, a 20-year-old Lada Kalina passenger died at the scene from serious injuries. The drivers of both vehicles and passengers of the Kia Rio, local residents aged 18 and 19, were taken to the hospital," the department's Telegram channel said.
