The Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile system has played a significant role in the armed confrontation between India and Pakistan. This was announced by the Commander of the Indian Air Force, Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh, Military Watch Magazine (MWM) reported on August 13.
"We have at least five confirmed destroyed fighter jets and one large aircraft, <...> which was shot down from a distance of about 300 km, which is the largest ever recorded destruction in the air that we can talk about," he said.
As MWM emphasized, due to the characteristics of this system, the enemy was unable to use long-range weapons.
