A new overpass in the northeast of Moscow will connect three districts
In the north-east of Moscow, a new overpass is under construction across the tracks of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow Railway. The 370—meter-long structure will connect three districts - Babushkinsky, Losinoostrovsky and Yaroslavsky. This was announced on Tuesday, August 12, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his Telegram channel.
The overpass will run from Anadyrsky to Khibinsky Passage and will have the shape of a horseshoe, the website reports. kp.ru . This project was chosen to preserve important objects — a pedestrian bridge over the railway, the polyclinic building, which is an object of cultural heritage, and the church of St. Macarius.
Currently, the site and temporary access roads are being prepared at the site of the future construction. According to Sobyanin, after the facility is put into operation, a new transport link will appear from Yaroslavskoye to Dmitrovskoye highway, which will make it possible to unload the street and road network. The final stage will be landscaping and landscaping of the surrounding area, according to the Moscow City News Agency.
On August 8, Sobyanin opened a transport interchange near the Kornilovskaya metro station and a road in the village of Mosrentgen with an exit to the Kaluga Highway. The new facilities will provide direct access to the Kornilovskaya and Tyutchevskaya stations of the Troitskaya metro line and improve transport services in the area, Moscow 24 notes.
