A woman and her son died due to a fire in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the deaths of a 61-year-old woman and her 38-year-old son in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. They were poisoned by carbon monoxide.

The tragedy occurred in the village of Novokamala, Rybinsk municipal district. According to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the bodies of the victims were discovered by neighbors who had not seen them for several days. There were signs of a fire in the apartment, and a cigarette butt was found on the floor.

The law enforcement agencies noted that an unopened cigarette could lead to a fire when the residents fell asleep.

In the Rostov region, a fire occurred on the fourth floor of an apartment building. 24 people were evacuated from the building. There were parents with three children in the burning apartment, they managed to leave the premises. Two children were hospitalized.
