In Khabarovsk, the police are conducting an investigation into fraud, as a result of which two local residents were injured. The total damage exceeded 4.5 million rubles.
According to the 33-year-old man, he started communicating with the girl via the Internet. She offered to earn additional income by buying and selling cryptocurrencies. The victim downloaded the app and made several transfers. This is reported by IA AmurMedia.
Another victim of fraud was a pensioner. She was contacted by a stranger who introduced himself as an employee of an organization for the delivery of various goods. The scammer stated that a package had allegedly arrived for the woman, and she needed to dictate the code from an SMS message. A few minutes later, another scammer contacted her, who convinced the pensioner to transfer the money to a "secure" account.
A criminal case has been opened on each fact.
In the Amur region, a woman lost almost 2.5 million rubles due to fraudsters. She tried to use legal services, but the interlocutor, under various pretexts, began to extort money from her.
