Two more defendants in the case of the mail robbery in Moscow were arrested for two months.

Two more defendants, who are accused of robbing a post office in Moscow, were arrested for two months. This was announced on August 12 in the official Telegram channel of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.

They clarified that the Nagatinsky Metropolitan Court sent Vladimir Lyakhov and Lyudmila Kavaldina to jail for two months.

The day before, the court also ordered the detention for one month and 29 days of three defendants in the case of the attack on the post office: Viktor Fedkin, Sergei Moskvitin and Regina Shikhova.

The robbery took place on August 8 in the Tsaritsyno area. It was reported that two unidentified men, wearing masks, threatened an employee with an object structurally similar to a pistol, stole money and fled. A criminal case was opened under Part 4 of Article 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Robbery"). Later, on August 9, police officers detained the suspects. 142 thousand rubles were seized from them.
