One person was killed and three injured in an accident near Nizhny Novgorod
Two trucks and two cars collided on the M-7 highway in the Nizhny Novgorod region, resulting in one death and three more injuries. This was announced on August 12 by the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"There was a report of a collision between two trucks and two cars on the M-7 Volga highway in the Kstovsky municipal district. As a result of the accident, the driver of one of the heavy trucks was killed, three people were injured," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that four specialists and one piece of equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that traffic towards Kazan is difficult. Operational services are working at the scene of the incident.
Earlier that day, Oleg Polyakov, Chairman of the Karelian State Committee for Safety, reported that two cars had collided head-on in the Pryazhinsky district of the republic on the 364th km of the Kola federal highway, resulting in two deaths and two more injuries.
