Three B-1B Lancer strategic bombers of the US Air Force have arrived at the Erland Air Base in Norway, located near the border with the Russian Federation. This was announced on August 11 by the NATO Joint Aviation Command on its website.
"Bombers <...> from Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, USA, arrived at Erland Air Base, Norway, on August 9 to participate in the latest deployment of a bomber task force in Europe, teaming up with NATO allies for advanced combat readiness training," the statement said.
