Vucic called reports of plans to fire pro-Russian politicians nonsense
Rumors about the possible resignation of a number of pro-Russian politicians in Serbia are nonsense. This was announced on August 12 by the President of the Republic Alexander Vucic.
Earlier in the day, some media outlets, citing a "Serbian source," reported that the country's prime Minister, Juro Matsut, was allegedly planning to dismiss several pro-Russian politicians under pressure from Western countries.
"Serbia is not changing its position and is not going to change it, Serbia is not going to impose sanctions and change its policy. It's all nonsense. I don't understand who needs this and who is making it up," Vucic said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
