Three children were injured in an accident in the Sverdlovsk region

As a result of an accident in the Sysertsky district of the Sverdlovsk region, five people were hospitalized, three of them children. This was reported on August 12 in the press service of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the region.

"On August 12, at about 12:20 p.m., on 2 km of the highway "Entrance to the village of Bolshoe Sedelnikovo", the driver of a Ford Transit car, moving along a secondary road, violated traffic regulations when entering an unregulated intersection, not giving an advantage in movement to a Volkswagen Tiguan car, which was moving along the main road, which led to a collision." According to a post on the VKontakte social network.

It is noted that as a result of the accident, the Volkswagen Tiguan driver, his passenger and three children aged five, seven and 15 were hospitalized. All the victims, including children, were wearing seat belts — no traffic violations were recorded.

Cases of administrative offenses were initiated against the Ford Transit driver under Article 12.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation "(failure to provide a vehicle with an advantage in motion") and under Article 12.24 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation ("traffic violation resulting in injury to health").

On August 10, two passenger cars collided on the Astrakhan—Makhachkala highway in the Republic of Dagestan, killing three people and injuring three others. It was clarified that the accident occurred on the 258th km of the highway in the Tarumovsky district. The driver of the second car and his two passengers, one of whom is a child, were taken to a hospital in the city of Kizlyar.
