Herd of horses killed by lightning strike in Bashkiria

A herd of seven horses was killed by a lightning strike during a thunderstorm in Bashkiria. This was reported on August 12 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic.

"On August 11, seven horses belonging to a resident of the village were killed in the village of Pervoe Turkmenovo, Baymak district, as a result of a lightning strike," the Telegram channel said.

It is emphasized that the horses were near power lines.

Earlier, on July 19, it was reported that a shepherd and several animals were killed in the Shailyk-Syrt tract in Karachay-Cherkessia as a result of a lightning discharge.
