The State Duma proposed lowering the retirement age depending on the number of children in the family. On August 12, Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia — For Truth party, and Yana Lantratova, first deputy head of the faction, made such an initiative.

"It is proposed to establish a fair and economically sound system of benefits for the early appointment of an old—age insurance pension for parents with many children, with a reduction in the generally established retirement age depending on the number of children raised," says the text of the document, which was reviewed by TASS.
