On August 12, the Russian Armed Forces cut the highway connecting Dobropillya and Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced by Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the region.

"The highway between Krasnoarmeysk and Dobropolye has been cut," he said during a broadcast on Channel One.
