Dilapidated garages on Gagarin Street were demolished in Chekhov
In Chekhov (Moscow region) the emergency complex of abandoned garage boxes was demolished. The dismantling work took place in July, the press service of the regional Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning reported on Tuesday, August 12.
One-story dilapidated brick structures were located on Gagarin Street, next to the buildings of the preschool department and the primary school of MBOU Secondary School No. 9. The garages were not used for a long time.
Citizens sent appeals about the need to demolish emergency facilities through the Dobrodel portal. As a result, the buildings were added to the list of those to be liquidated, writes the online publication Podmoskovye Segodnya.
The site has already been cleared of dilapidated garages and construction debris. A decision on the further use of the territory will be made later.
Earlier, Izvestia wrote that all residential buildings in Russia will be recalculated and entered into a single database, where their technical characteristics and condition will be indicated. Currently, information about the housing stock is in different databases, so the exact number of properties is unknown.
