- Chinese scientists have introduced a robot into a herd of Tibetan antelopes
Chinese scientists have introduced an animal-like robot into a herd of poorly studied antelopes in the Tibetan Plateau to observe their life, habitat and ecological situation. This was reported on August 12 by the Xinhua news agency.
"The robotic Tibetan antelope has overcome the established restrictions on the distance from which a person can observe wildlife. It will provide more accurate, reliable images and data for studying the behavior of Tibetan antelopes in China," the report says.
It is reported that the robot walked 2 km at an altitude of more than 4,600 m in the Kakasili alpine Reserve and integrated into a herd of antelopes. The researchers were able to observe wild animals up close without the risk of scaring them away.
On August 1, it was reported that the Xueba 01 humanoid robot in China entered graduate school for the first time. It was noted that Xueba 01 will be studying at a four-year postgraduate program in drama and cinema, focusing on traditional Chinese opera.
