Russian military personnel using a Geran-2 drone struck a special forces unit of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Sumy region. This was announced on August 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the unit of the Ukrainian special forces was destroyed in the area of the settlement of Krivonosovka.
