The Russian winter swimming team returned to Moscow after competing at the World Winter Swimming Cup in Argentina, and the athletes arrived at Domodedovo airport in the morning. Footage from the scene of the August 12 events is published by Izvestia.
At the World Cup, the Russian team won 38 medals, including 24 gold, seven silver and seven bronze. The athletes also won the freestyle team relay by a significant margin.

Earlier, on August 4, Russian swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov, who won a gold medal at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore, spoke about his impressions of the competition. He noted that when he saw his result exceeding his expectations, the swimmer was very happy.
On August 3, Kolesnikov won the gold medal in the 50 m backstroke. The Russian became the world champion with a score of 23.68 seconds and set a World Cup record.
