To get a reprieve from mobilization, the attacker agreed to plant a bomb in a car to kill a Russian military man. The Ukrainian agent told about this in a video provided by the FSB Public Relations Center on August 12.
According to him, he came to Russia in 2023 in order to avoid mobilization in Ukraine. Later, he met with an employee of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who offered him a deal.
"He offered me documents, a postponement from mobilization in exchange for sabotage actions. Then the task was to buy a car, buy the components of an improvised explosive device, install it in the car," the agent said.
He noted that the man had sent all the instructions to him electronically.
