The State Duma will propose a change in approaches to homework for schoolchildren

Russia plans to develop proposals to reduce the burden on schoolchildren. This was announced on August 12 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in the Telegram channel.

According to him, the majority of Russians are of the opinion that it is necessary to reduce the burden on schoolchildren, since it is excessive. In addition, many people believe that it is important to change the approaches to homework in terms of "formalism", as students resort to using AI and various programs. At the same time, it is necessary to save homework in order to consolidate the material and develop, among other things, a creative approach.

"Based on the opinions expressed, we plan to work out proposals to change the situation," Volodin said.
