Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban refused to join the statement of the leaders of the European Union (EU) on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, which indicated Kiev's support on the path to European integration. The relevant document was published on the official website of the European Council on August 12.

"Hungary has not joined this statement," the text of the statement says.
