An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 was recorded in Kamchatka. This was reported on August 11 in the Telegram channel of the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences".

According to seismologists, the earthquake was located 347 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at a depth of more than 51 km.
