The SBU has put Denis Maidanov on the wanted list

Denis Maydanov, a State Duma deputy and singer, has been put on the wanted list by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

According to data from the department's database, which was reviewed by TASS, Maidanov has been wanted since April 2022. It is specified that he is accused of encroaching on the integrity of the territories of Ukraine and the inviolability of the state. According to the agency, the deputy belongs to the category of persons who have been sentenced to imprisonment.

In addition, for his trips to Crimea and support of the Russian Federation in 2017, he was added to the database of the Ukrainian extremist website Peacemaker.

The person involved in the attack on airfields turned out to be associated with the candidate for the post of Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.

On August 11, the SBU also put State Duma deputy Svetlana Zhurova on the wanted list. It was clarified that she was accused of encroaching on the integrity of Ukraine. In addition, in 2017, she was included in the lists of the Peacemaker website.
