Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov congratulated Russian military personnel and veterans on the Day of the Russian Air Force. The text of the greeting was published on August 12 in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Belousov noted the effectiveness of domestic aviation, for which the whole country is proud. He also emphasized the heroism shown by the Air Force personnel in the area of the special military operation, and thanked the previous generations of pilots, testers and creators of unique equipment for their professionalism, courage and perseverance, whose forces ensured Russia's confident superiority in the sky.

In addition, the Minister of Defense pointed to the efforts of scientists, designers, engineers and industry representatives who are applying them to the development and creation of multifunctional aviation complexes and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
