Power outage occurred in Strezhev, Tomsk region, due to a fire

In the city of Strezhevoy in the north of the Tomsk region, there was a partial blackout of electricity and water due to a fire on a cable overpass. This was announced on August 12 by the mayor of the city Valery Denichenko.

"The police are on high alert. They will ensure order in the city. A hospital with electricity. The vodokanal runs on diesel. Water is supplied to the city," he said in a message on his Telegram channel.

In addition, he stated that due to the fire, there may not be enough capacity for the city's sewage system. Denichenko added that as soon as the specialists stop dealing with pumping, the water supply will be cut off throughout the city.

According to him, the supply of hot water will begin immediately after the last two sewage pumping stations are launched.

On August 2, the press service of the Prosecutor's office of the Novgorod Region reported that a massive power outage occurred in 34 settlements of the region. It is noted that a power outage was recorded in the territories of Demyansky, Novgorodsky, Okulovsky, Pestovsky and Soletsky districts.
