The crews of the Msta-B guns destroyed the UAV control points and the concentration of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Crews of the Msta-B guns of the Ulyanovsk Guards Airborne Forces (Airborne Forces) destroyed control points for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the right bank of the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. This was announced on August 12 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

During aerial reconnaissance in one of the settlements on the right bank of the river, five UAV control points and concentrations of Ukrainian servicemen were identified in the basements of destroyed buildings, where the enemy was regrouping and preparing for active actions to overcome defensive lines. After confirming the data, the coordinates of the identified targets were immediately transferred to artillery units stationed along the left bank of the river.

It was decided to use high-precision correctable Krasnopol ammunition to destroy UAV control points and concentrations of personnel. The fire was adjusted and the results were recorded using the Orlan-30 reconnaissance drone. The gunners promptly prepared the guns for firing and destroyed all five UAV control points and two infantry concentration sites in a matter of minutes.

On August 11, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the destruction of 10 UAV control points by the South group of troops. It was clarified that the task of destroying the target was assigned to the calculations of the Msta-B howitzers and UAVs.
