Australian scientist Karl Krushelnitsky has revealed that he has solved the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle. This was reported on August 9 by Popular Mechanics magazine.

Krushelnitsky believes that the disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are not abnormal.

"An Australian scientist <...> does not share the supernatural reputation of the Bermuda Triangle," the magazine writes.

The scientist claims that the percentage of missing ships and aircraft in this region corresponds to the global average. He attributes the incidents to the high traffic intensity and difficult conditions for shipping and aviation in the area.

Even with some high-profile disappearances, Krushelnitsky points out that each case contains a degree of bad weather or probable human error.

Business Insider reported on December 16 that a Boeing 787 aircraft was forced to land in Bermuda due to a strong odor from hundreds of pigs in the cargo hold. It was clarified that the plane landed in Bermuda six hours after departure.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
